RISE Worldwide 2024

RISE Worldwide starts its 15th year! In the past years, more than 3,700 undergraduate students from German universities have interned abroad as research assistants.

Research groups from all over the world that are interested in hosting a research assistant from Germany in the summer of 2024 are invited to submit project offers for RISE Worldwide. In this program research groups, laboratories and doctoral students can apply to host a motivated and well-qualified student from Germany. The intern will assist in research and lab work for the proposed project. The students will get academic training in the fields of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Medicine, or in a closely related field and will receive a DAAD scholarship to help cover living expenses and travel costs.

Submission of project proposals: 15 Aug – 30 Sept 2023
Terms of the internship: 6 weeks to 3 months in the summer of 2024 with the earliest starting date: 1 Jun 2024.
