DAAD India hosted a RISE (Research Internship in Science and Engineering) Scholarship Meet & Greet on 27th and 28th of September 2023. The event included an interactive brainstorming session on how to promote Study and Research in India and experience sharing of the scholars of their time in India.

The RISE scholars also got an opportunity to meet and interact with Kasper Meyer, Head of Science and technology Section, German Embassy New Delhi. The Scholars have been interning at various Indian institutions such as IIT Bombay, JECRC University, IITDM Jabalpur, University of Hyderabad, Integral University Lucknow, ICRISAT, College of Engineering Trivrandrum. Every year DAAD offers summer internships all over the world to undergraduate students from Germany with academic training in STEM subjects.  RISE Worldwide was first offered in the year 2010 and starts its 15th year in 2023.
