Call for Applications: International Workshop for Dhoch3 - Module 9

Diskursive Landeskunde & Kulturstudien Deutsch als Fremdsprache

The Dhoch3 program is being offered by the DAAD since 2015 and is currently based on ten online study modules that are to be used to support German teacher training worldwide. The onsite event is open for German as Foreign Language lecturers at Indian universities who teach German as a foreign language or work as teachers in the field of German studies.

Under the Dhoch3 program, funded by the Federal Foreign Office, the DAAD has been supporting the university training of future GFL (German as foreign language) lecturers at international universities since 2015 by providing thematic online study modules.

The module content can be integrated into existing GFL and German studies courses at advanced Bachelor’s and Master’s level and complements the existing offer with regard to the qualification of future teachers. Dhoch3 is intended to serve as a long-term and worldwide professional support service for the development of new degree programs in the fields of GFL and German studies.
