DAAD at 50 Years of Indo-German Cooperation in Technology and Science
In the presence of minister Bettina Stark-Watzinger Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung and the Ministry of Science and Technology Science and Technology, DAAD India and DWIH New Delhi presented their work through a poster exhibition.
A session dedicated to academic exchange, co-organised with the Department of Science , featured six eminent panelists – all beneficiaries of DAAD programmes – who discussed the impact of international exchange on their careers and institutional relationships. Topics included the importance of supporting women in global exchange, fostering equitable research partnerships, and the future of collaboration through sustainable funding and, joint and double degree programs.
The day was filled with fruitful discussions, networking, and the signing of several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), further solidifying the bond between Germany and India in science and technology.
