Research Grants in Germany

The research grant offers the opportunity to realise a research project in Germany. During a doctorate funding is available for 2 to 12 months, and in the early postdoc phase for 2 to 6 months.

Application deadline:

The DAAD finances this scholarship programme with public funds from the federal government. Unfortunately, the available budget for 2025 has already been exhausted for a number of the countries offered. Applications for these countries can therefore only be accepted again from autumn 2025 for the year 2026. The call date will be published shortly.
